Central & Western District Office plans to beautify Sands Street by redesigning and decorating the existing facilities, and adding new elements such as street furniture, artworks, paintings etc throughout the street. The design concept is echoing the marine shipbuilding heritage of Sands Street. The design elements are adopted from ship hull, moor, ship features and details to highlight the unique character and significance of the street.
