The Lung Tsun Stone Bridge site had been discovered after the old Kai Tak International Airport was demolished in 1998. The Lung Tsun Stone Bridge / Pier had been the most significant place of travel to all travellers where both Lung Tsun Stone Bridge and Kai Tak Airport Terminal Building were built at the same location. The importance of Lung Tsun Bridge and Kai Tak Airport (1875-1998) are equally significant to Hong Kong in their 123 years of histories. These two facilities had been serving as the Hong Kong’s threshold towards the outside world until the Hong Kong International Airport was moved to Chek Lap Kok in 1998.

However, the latest development of the Kai Tak District has once again put Kai Tak District back in the map of the world again as the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal is recently open which would be the regional hub of sea travelling.

The project "Passage Voyage" is trying to re-discover these historical narratives with architectural and spatial elements; creating spaces to make the visitors to engage with the remnants interactively rather than simply preserving the remnants. Visitors could observe the remnants from different angles and heights; experience and percept the “narratives” we projected in the space. The stone bridge is flooded with long grasses to impose the movements of wave during its heydays.
